What this is
A planning tool that helps a family agree on when and where to attend the temple together. It coordinates people. It does not interact with any Church system.
What you are not getting
This is a side project, not a service. Nobody is paid to keep it running, there is no uptime commitment, and no undertaking to keep your data indefinitely. It may be switched off, and it may be switched off without warning.
Keep anything that matters somewhere else as well. The official Church confirmation is the record of your appointment; this is a place your family agreed on a plan.
Booking is not done here
This software never books a temple appointment. It helps your family agree on an option, and then the organizer books it themselves on the official Church scheduling website. The organizer can record the confirmed details afterwards so everyone gets the same information.
Nothing shown in this application is a reservation. Only a confirmation from the official Church system is a reservation.
Acceptable use
- Use it for coordinating your own family.
- Signing up is open to anyone with a Google account, which means the person running this does not know you. Do not make that a problem for them.
- Do not use it to collect information about people who have not been sent a link.
- Do not share a plan link with people the family has not agreed to include.
- Do not attempt to reach a plan you were not given a link to.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your Google account secure — anyone with access to it can sign in as you.
- A share link has no password on it. Anyone you send it to can answer that one trip, and can pass it on. Send it the way you would send the address of a family gathering.
- Names on a plan are whatever people typed. Nothing here verifies that somebody is who they say they are.
- Only send the link to relatives who are happy to have their name and answers seen by everyone else on that trip.
- If you are the organizer, you can delete a plan and everything on it at any time. If somebody asks you to remove what this holds about them, that is how.
No warranty
This software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It may contain defects. It may be unavailable. It may lose data. Do not rely on it as the only record of an appointment — the official Church confirmation is the authoritative one.
To the extent permitted by law, the person running it is not liable for any loss arising from its use.
Changes
The software is under active development and these terms may change as features ship. The privacy page is kept accurate to what is actually implemented at each release.
